It is an area rich in wildlife with a great diversity of landscapes : pebble ridges, beaches of fine sand bordered by dunes, marshland and ponds, cliffs which get increasingly higher as they near the Pointe du Raz, the Goyen tidal river, the bustling harbour and historic centre of Audierne. Don’t miss the 4km long dunes at Tréffiagat, the Maison de la Baie d’Audierne at Tréguennec, Saint-Vio with its delightful little chapel (the smallest one in Pays Bigouden), the bird observatory (97 species to discover!) beside the lake.
