Port de Sainte-Marine

There is no more charming sight than the slipway leading down to the estuary of the River Odet, the ancient oak trees along the harbourside, crabpots and lobsterpots stacked on the quay, small boats bobbing up and down in the sunshine and the pink Abri des Marins building. A cup of coffee at a harbourside café in the early morning sunshine is a memorable experience. In summer a passenger ferry runs across the Odet to Bénodet – a 5 minute journey !
