This is the largest beach in Le Guilvinec, 800m from the harbour and great for swimming and water sports. A west-facing family beach it runs into Plage du Ster beach, Penmarc'h and faces the Pointe de Penmarc’h and Eckmühl lighthouse. In summer there is a water sports centre offering catamaran sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, etc. and showers on the beach at the entrance by Rue Jules Guesde. At low tide, it is good for rockpool fishing. There is a children’s play area on the dunes which is open all year round. The GR34 coastal footpath runs along the boardwalk past the beach to Kérity. There are public toilets at the end of the car park. Animals are not allowed on this beach. Cycling is forbidden along the boardwalk. There are no lifeguards at this beach.
